Joining the PTA:
Fossil Ridge PTA is using a new online system to purchase PTA memberships this year. This can be accessed at : fris.memberhub.store
This year we are also accepting students as PTA members. They will be invited to attend meetings during their REACH periods, and hold full voting privileges! We would love to have their input and have them involved in the decision making. All student PTA members will also be given a “thank you” treat once per trimester! Student memberships are also available on the same online store.
PTA Meetings:
Our September meeting will be on Thursday, September 19th. We will be meeting at 1pm. Student/faculty PTA members are invited to attend during their REACH period (around 1:2pm).
Color Run:
The PTA fundraiser this year will  be a Color Run. This will be on September 27th. Watch for more information coming home mid-September! Color packets can be purchased at: fris.memberhub.store. You can also use this site for donations!
Red Ribbon Week:
October 7th-11th. More information coming!! But mark your calendars for the Red Ribbon for Parents night, presented by Stapley Pharmacy. This will be on October 8th @ 6PM. This will be an incredible night that you won’t want to miss! All parents and faculty invited!

Our Commitment to Student Learning

  • Student learning is the focus of Fossil Ridge Intermediate School. This includes Utah State Standards, core academics, co-curricular activities, and various other skills including personal responsibility, respect, exploration, and leadership.
  • Students who are demonstrating competency in these areas identified by assessment, frequent monitoring, and good choices will be provided with the opportunity to select additional learning opportunities during the school week.
  • Students who require extra assistance in meeting identified standards will be provided extra time during the week for immediate, specific intervention.
